Canada is one of the largest nations in terms of land area. This North American country houses almost 35 million people from 10 provinces and three territories. One of its largest metropolitan areas is Winnipeg in the province of Manitoba. Its 2006 population is estimated at 695,000.

From that nearly 700,000 population in Winnipeg, one of them is Robert Edwards, co-founder and president of Our World Network and Youth Juice Sciences Inc. Edwards was born on May 15, 1941 and at such an early age, already had an interest in science and medicine. In order to pursue his interest, Edwards took up his tertiary education at the University of Manitoba. For his Bachelor Science degree, he majored in Organic Chemistry and Microbiology. Those two fields are considered as one of the hardest branches of science.

After he finished his education, Edwards interned for a year in General Motors located in British Columbia so that he will have a chance to take Master’s Degree to pursue a career in medicine. Realizing that the money earned in the internship was not enough to fund his post graduate studies, Edwards then headed to Australia. After four years, he became successful in the construction and home improvement sales industry.

While in Australia, Robert Edwards realized that person-to-person sales would be needed for him to be a successful entrepreneur. He used the idea in his future businesses and was slowly gaining some buzz around Canada.After he returned to Canada and started doing business on his own, he met his then future wife, Lynda Perry during the 1970s. From that point on, Edwards and Perry became longtime companions and business partners.

They founded Networking Alliance for Today’s Opportunity in 1994, and then 10 years after, they founded what is now one of top networking companies in Canada, the Our World Network. Through OWN, Edwards and Perry were able to advertise products that helps in the empowerment of knowledge of the people.Both Robert Edwards and Lynda Perry has become one of Canada’s finest businessmen. Through their networking business, many have were able to earn money that helped in sustaining their everyday living. Through their Youth Juice Sciences Inc., many were able to sustain their healthy lifestyle and improve their physical being.

If not for the learning that Edwards was able to gain in Australia, he would not be able to succeed and become one of the top names in his home country.
